Well, i realized the irony of this message after my comment to Usual suspect, but this movie happens in Budapest and all dialogs are in Hungarian. The movie is about subway ticket inspectors - with strange people, strange turns, very naive ( kind of 'country style' naive - but when i recently re-read bredberry i realized that most of his stories are also a typical country style). But it's also very well staged and performed - i really enjoyed it. The ending is weak but it's just last 5 minutes - reasonably forgivable. It's the first movie of Nimrod Antal - hope to see something else by him in future. I am not the only one who liked the movie - it a winner of Le prix de la jeunesse in Cannes, best director in Copenhagen and best foreign language film on Chicago festival - all in 2004.
